Escanaba Country Club

Escanaba Country Club is the Upper Peninsula's most established golf institution, offering a historic public-access layout on the shores of Little Bay de Noc along Lake Michigan's Green Bay arm. Escanaba sits at the heart of the U.P.'s Delta County, and the club has been a social and recreational anchor for the community for over a century. The course features parkland-style holes with mature hardwoods, open meadow sections, and occasional views that reflect the U.P.'s wild character. Playing conditions are excellent for a remote Upper Peninsula facility, and the staff takes pride in presenting the course well during the short May–September season. The Upper Peninsula's isolation means the course primarily serves locals and dedicated golf travelers making the U.P. pilgrimage, resulting in a relaxed, community-focused atmosphere that is increasingly rare in modern golf.
