About Old Corkscrew Golf Club

Old Corkscrew Golf Club is a Jack Nicklaus Signature design in Estero, set within the Corkscrew corridor of Lee County between Fort Myers and Naples — one of Southwest Florida's fastest-growing areas. The course is considered one of Nicklaus's finest public-access works in Florida, featuring his signature bold contouring, large waste bunkers, and dramatic bunkering around meticulously shaped greens. The layout plays through native scrub, cypress wetlands, and pine flatwood preserves, creating a course that feels immersed in natural Southwest Florida habitat while delivering championship-caliber golf. The back nine in particular is regarded as one of the most challenging and visually stunning stretches of public golf in the region. Old Corkscrew hosted Florida State Amateur qualifying events and attracts serious golfers from across South Florida who make it a bucket-list destination. The facility includes an excellent practice range and a clubhouse appropriate to its premium positioning.
