  • Cloud hosting and database infrastructure
  • Email and SMS delivery
  • Error monitoring: Error data, including stack traces and user context (such as your email address), may be transmitted to our error tracking provider to help us diagnose issues.
  • Google (OAuth & Analytics): If you sign in with Google, Google receives your authentication request and returns your name and email to us. We also use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how users interact with our service; usage data is shared with Google in accordance with Google's privacy policy, which may include use for advertising personalization. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tools or by declining cookies in our consent banner.

These providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for specified purposes.

Google Analytics and CCPA "Sharing"

Under California law (CCPA/CPRA), sharing personal data with analytics providers like Google for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered "sharing" even if not a sale. We share limited usage data with Google Analytics only if you consent via our cookie banner. California residents may opt out of this sharing by declining cookies in our consent banner, using browser-level controls, Google's opt-out tools, or by contacting us at privacy@teetimego.com.

In connection with any merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookie Consent

When you first visit TeeTimeGo, we display a cookie consent banner. Analytics and tracking cookies (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, PostHog) are not loaded until you click "Accept." If you click "Decline," these cookies will not be set and no analytics data will be collected from your session. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage and remembered for future visits.

Types of Cookies We Use

  • Essential Cookies: Required for authentication, security, and basic service functionality. These are always active regardless of your consent choice.
  • Analytics Cookies (consent required): Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and PostHog cookies that help us analyze service usage, understand user behavior, and improve performance. Only set if you accept cookies.
  • Functional Cookies: Remember your preferences and settings (e.g., cookie consent choice, UTM attribution)

Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can change your cookie preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for teetimego.com, which will cause the consent banner to reappear on your next visit. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may affect service functionality.

First-Party Behavioral Data

Separately from analytics cookies, we collect behavioral events (such as course searches and alert creation activity) in our own database when you are logged in. This data is used to personalize your experience — for example, to send you relevant course recommendations or re-engagement emails. This collection does not depend on cookie consent, as it is part of the service you signed up for. You can control related communications via your notification preferences in account settings.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide you with our services
  • Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes
  • Maintain security and prevent fraud
  • Improve our services through analysis

Typically, we retain account information for the duration of your account plus 3 years after closure, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Usage data and analytics may be retained longer in aggregated, de-identified form.

6. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Regular security assessments and monitoring
  • Access controls and employee training
  • Secure hosting with reputable cloud providers

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but continuously work to improve our protections.
